Marika created this one. The butterfly uses 22 full size cupcakes. Her Details are created with: mentos, "googly eyes", pipe cleaners, pink green and yellow frosting, and feathers. She wrapped a cookie sheet with wrapping paper for her tray. SO cute!!! What little girls wouldn't love a butterfly cupcake mosaic for her birthyday!

why did i not know about this hidden talent of yours?
i love your profile. so glad you have joined the blogging world. i can't wait to read more. will you tell any great iowa stories?
no- no Iowa stories- I could never compete with Debbie's (http://uncommonnotions.blogspot.com/) storytelling talent. Or memory- she is amazing- I could never remember the details that she does. I had a mosaic in mind that involved you though. A chocolate fooball shaped cupcake mosaic, using our special long white sugar cookies as the white parts on the football. Can you picture it? It looks great in my mind!
Michal- The cookies from your January 29th post- http://sleepymum.blogspot.com/- can you picture those combined withsome chocolate cupcakes- it could make a great football for superbowl sunday! Of course, I am not watching the superbowl, let alone hosting a party, so doubt I will be making the cupcake mosaic!
ooh. i love the concept. you'll have to try it some time. maybe that's a good reason to have a non-superbowl-watching-party! too bad we are out of town--if you want to break into my house, there are a few rolls of cookie dough in my freezer. help yourself!:)
Hey Christine I'm so excited that your bloging I just dont get to talk to you enough... I love the butterfly I'm sure I will need your help for Olivia's birthday.. And I think I need some help with paint in the new house..maybe you shouldn't have told all your talents LOL ...MAndy
